About the GSR

The Genome Sciences Resource provides Vanderbilt researchers with guided access to a diverse set of genomics tools, and consolidates services for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Sanger sequencing, microarray analysis, and defined bioinformatic analysis. In late May 2012 the GSR will relocate into the VANTAGE (VANderbilt Technologies for Advanced Genomics) facility: 9136 square feet of newly renovated lab space, co-located with two other shared resources and supported by $10 million of federal and institutional funding.

The staff of the GSR strive to provide quality service, ensuring the best possible outcome for all of the services we provide.  All services provided are performed in a professional manner with appropriate qualitative assessment of work performed at each step in the processing of samples.

While the GSR exists to serve the Vanderbilt community, we welcome inquiries from investigators outside this institution and will provide the services that our staffing and physical resources allow.

Thanks to everyone who attended the VUMC-GSR Town Hall Meeting on January 25th.  The PowerPoint slides from the meeting can be found at Town Hall Meeting.
